OT: Flock Talk context this week

You guys might have noticed the last two weeks were leaning heavily into talk about adversity and cancer. Just for some context this past week one of my employees - who had been with our company for almost a decade - passed away from Cancer. We knew it was coming, but the inevitability did not change the impact of the finality. Her father also happens to work for us (she was under 50) and we had to call him back from route on Tuesday so he could rush to her hospital when the doctors decided to give only palliative care. She lasted just 24 hours after that happened - and it was difficult for the entire crew; myself included.

She was one of the reasons I decided to return to the company. But I also had a bit of guilt as when we found out about the doctors stopping all care, I was in the midst of getting exceptional news from our Division VP - and it was difficult for me to accept being happy at such a somber moment. I know we all must move forward when we lose a loved one, it was just difficult in the moment to feel joy while she was losing her two year battle (she had been in remission until May of this year) with cancer.

Thank you all for your understanding and patience!

Watch: Former Oregon Ducks’ star Kayvon Thibodeaux continues hunting quarterbacks for the New York Giants.

The New York Giants’ linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux said “thank you’ to Washington Commanders’ left tackle Charles Leno just before halftime of the Giants’ 31-19 win over the Commanders on Sunday.

“For what?” Leno asked.

“For the 10 sacks I’m gonna get today,” Thibodeaux replied.

What Kenny Dillingham said after Arizona State lost to No. 6 Oregon

That’s a team that can win a national championship. If that team runs the table they deserve the opportunity because that’s one of the best football teams I’ve played in my opinion in my entire career. I’d put them up with the Georgia team I played last year in Week 1.”

Oregon or Arizona?

It will be moot if it happens but, if Oregon loses next week and Arizona wins, who goes to Las Vegas?
Never thought I'd be asking that question.

Fisher has to be the last coach of the year in the Old Pac-12, unless it Becomes that again in a few years.

It's really to bad for Smith and Fisher that this falling apart. They have done what it would have taken to bring the conference back to relevance. USC has not :)

Oregon/Tennessee St.

Oregon up at the half, 48-40. Pretty good size advantage for the Ducks in this one. Most of the Ducks' points in the paint. Away from the basket, less successful, as has been the case. Shot 47% from the field, 36% from 3. Didn't turn it over much, only a couple. Tennessee State can hit some 3s, and boards have been pretty even. Free throw shooting better so far at 81%.
