I’ll be in attendance, so I won’t be doing much posting.
The men are not contenders for the team podium. However, Oregon will have some men competing in the championships. I am particularly excited about seeing Oregon sophomore decathlete Rafael Raap compete. I don’t expect Raap to score team points, but he is a PAC 12 Champion and could be an All American in coming seasons. The guy has a build out of Greek mythology.
The women have one of the top teams in the country. Jaida Ross , Jayden Mays, and Shelby Moran, among others, should bring in some big team points. They are currently ranked 4th in the nation. With the crowd behind them, the women could finish in the top three….. and Jaida Ross likely will be the top women’s field athlete in the NCAA. Our 4x400 team has heart, and will be the crowd’s Cinderella favorite. You got to love that group!
