A. J. re; Trail Tale

Wished you would post a link from the boards as well, regarding articles on the front page. It would save me the time, LOL! Regarding your latest article, I really enjoyed reading it, and wished you could do more of these in the future. I mean the third party opinion of not only our coaching staff, but players as well. Lends a new perspective on the character side of the equation. Anyway, thanks for the info.

Weaknesses of new defense

So far we've heard I've heard a bunch of great reasons to switch to the 4-3 but what are potential weaknesses it creates over the 3-4 we've used? Let's stick to on the field disadvantages of it as opposed to things like difficulty with recruiting positions or anything like that. Where are he weaknesses of this defense that may not have been there with the 3-4?

Pacifier Report

Many are disappointed that our #11 ranked basketball team fell back to Earth. Many are disappointed in the way that the football team finished the season, and then finished the recruiting class.

When the chips are down, there is one Oregon program that you can usually count on to lift your school spirit and give some relief to your frustrations. I don't turn to that program as a pacifier, because I'd follow the track program whether or not I needed a pacifier. However, to my fellow Ducks on this board, I feel compelled to help cheer you up.

Our track program looks fabulous. It is still early, but Oregon's women look just awesome. The men look very good, and I think they will be a contender for a national outdoor team title and a Bowerman trophy winner. If these two teams can stay healthy, I predict that they will not disappoint.

So here is the summation link on how they thrilled me this weekend in Alburqueqe and Seattle ..Maybe this will cheer you up....at least a little....the track team has been doing that for Duck fans for decades!
