It was reported earlier today that 2026 'four-star' tight end Kendre Harrison will be committing next Saturday. Harrison has a final group that includes Penn State, Florida State, Tennessee, Miami, North Carolina, and Oregon. The Ducks have hosted the No. 12 overall prospect for the class of 2026 twice - including a trip out for the Ohio State game.
I know that he loved everything about the atmosphere in Eugene and that the Ducks also offered him for basketabll - which is critical for Harrison. Of his finalists, only one of them truly fits the bill of being very good at both sports and I think that puts Oregon in a really good spot right now. But Harrison also does not talk much and it is hard to get a feel from him as to where this stands so I am not ready to make any predictions. I think Oregon is legitimately in this race, but now that he has a commitment date, the race really begins.
One: this would be a huge get for the 2026 class which is already the No. 2 ranked class in the nation. But two: there is a long way until signing day for 2026 so it will be interesting to watch this one play out over the next 12 months irrespective of which school he picks on the 30th.
