Idaho score guessing results

Thanks to the 100 point injection for picking the winner this season everyone is in the black, though no-one picked either teams score correctly and nobody got the spread right.. The Rocker did best in what a disappointing win for the team, other than a W. Rocking was comfortably ahead of Scott who finished second while Cody (guest picker on the round table), Quantum, Duckfan, Fish and Adam also were in the 60+ club. Here's the way it turned out

Rockin (1) 69
Scott 64
Cody 63
Fish 62
Quantum 61
Duckfan 61

Congrats to Rockin and thanks to the rest of you for posting. Hope to see all of you and a few new guys on the Boise State contest.

Wednesday War Room: What's left for 2025 defensive recruiting?

Today in the Wednesday War Room, a look at what's left for Oregon in the 2025 class on the defensive side of the ball:

Respects paid to Autzen and the PAC.

Wasn’t sure where else to put this, so it gets its own thread. Cam Ward had some words for SEC fans in the media and Gator fans at the Swamp. From ESPN:

Afterward, clearly perturbed that one of the biggest storylines entering the game was that the Canes never had played in an environment that loud before, Ward had a message for Gator fans.

"I played at USC," said Ward, who transferred to Miami from Washington State. "USC wasn't packed, but it was louder than this. I played in Oregon, it was louder than this. The Pac-12 gets misspoken for. Some advice to the fans: If you're going to be loud, you have to be loud when we're huddling. Can't just be loud once we break the huddle. By that time, there's no point. We hear the play. We communicated already. But it was a good atmosphere to play in. And I'm just excited now we were able to get a victory."
Autzen fans know how, and when, to be noisy. Ward was letting folks in SEC country know that they have work to do to match the passion & football knowledge of some of our fan bases out West. Tip of the cap to Cam.

Sunday notes

We will be traveling back to Portland in a bit, I already have the Sunday Morning Sidewalk piece scheduled for 10:00 am today but will probably not be on the boards for a buit as we park the RV, get everything put away and then pick up Fiji.

I thought Brandon did an exceptional job with all of the social stuff last night and it is very appreciated! We were able to get you perspectives on all five player interviews plus Dan LAnning's comments last night.

The game was not what many of us expected, so the Sunday Morning Sidewalk is my chance to look back from the morning after perspective.

Thank you everyone! The gamer thread last night was really a great thing. Lots of engagement and I like that kind of thing around here.

Fifth Quarter: Idaho

Good morning, our regular Sunday feature - The Fifth Quarter is up with the good, the bad, and the ugly from the offense, defense, special teams, and coaching perspectives:

How in hell!

i see on the 2024 team recruiting lists that Colorado is bringing in over 40 transfers.

What does that mad man think is the secret to building a team? One and Done short timers who will never meld into a team? His kid will again be subjected to harassment and possible injury to apease his old man?

i hope some saner minds can see what this kind of team management can lead to and stop it.

Wuzzat score goin' to be vs Idaho

As promised, I have here in my currently unstained hand 5 football cards.
Troy Dye rookie card
Brian Hinkle card
Gary Zimmerman card
Coach John Robinson card
Deion Sanders either Rookie or second season card (I'll check later) Gotta believe if you are going to win this thing.

Scoring is different this year and while the main winner gets the cards, the secondary one gets the glory.. Main winner is most points
The third guy can just brag a little. Second it the guy with the best average score (minimum of 7 games) Third guy is the one with the most wins.
Yep, it's possible for one of you (or me) to claim all three

Scoring is simpler this year
100 points for correctly picking the winner
50 points for each exact score for a team in the game
25 for the correct spread
To determine the weekly winner in case of a tie is first one in.

Some of you lurkers, please come out of the shadows for just this one little thing. We'd be happy to have you and one of us 2nd year veterans is bound to keep you out of the bottom spot.

With that in mind I kick it off with 59-0 score vs Idaho
