For the longest time the lists on Wikipedia and the ones put out by the UO AD were woefully incomplete. Rob Moseley had put out a list during the Rio Olympics that didn't include Greg Gibson. I emailed Rob Mosely and pointed out that Greg Gibson ( who was at Oregon when I was) was a Silver Medalist in Greco Roman wrestling. Now I see a list on Wikipedia that is much more comprehensive . I want to point out that Trish King grew up 4 houses down the street from where I grew up. She is now on the list. This list is much bigger and looks much better!

Nothing to bring out the good in people like a full-blown catastrophe.

I have a single friend who lives in Canby. She knows of a family who had to evacuate so she moved out of her house and into the house of another single friend, so that the family that evacuated could stay in her house.

I have another friend who is taking in displaced people. He too is single and has four extra rooms in his house. Even if he doesn't know you, you are welcome.

There are too many stories to count about neighbors and strangers rallying up to save horses and livestock and other animals.

People have run out of gas on the highways with the flames closing in and other motorists have stopped to pick them up.

The stories, I'm sure, are just starting but it warms my heart to see people put their differences aside and offer unconditional help to those in need.

Now...what can I do today to help?

Driving through Wasco, Oregon a couple of weeks ago and saw this sign on the reader board at a business:

Got a chuckle out of that one.

Nobody improved their stock more in Georgia after week one than 2022 WR Denylon Morrissette. He had over 200 yards and 3 TDs last Thursday and has picked up 8 offers since.
