Flock Talk: The Podcast Episode 3

Good morning all. Originally I had set up to use the same session on pause to make this week's edition, but got logged out of the first session and the recording ended, so had to stay up a little later to try and get these together into one - in the future I will probably just do these as separate episodes.

We were joined by Ross Dellenger of Yahoo Sports to talk about changes to the National Letter of Intent and the next steps. Still in some flux right now.

Afterward Lee and I talked some recruiting and football before Drew Davis joined us to finish out our night.

This was a LATE night for Lee since I did the recording at 7:30 Pacific time. The lighting in the Ross Dellenger part was not great, working on getting some portable lighting for those days when I have to record a segment at my day job office.

Here you go (also available on Spotify, Amazon Music, Pandora. Working on getting it on Apple still).

DSA RoundTable

Next up today is the DSA RoundTable. Went with a light edition today, but will be talking with Drew and Lee on our Podcast tomorrow with our own version of a RoundTable then as well!

Here is this week's edition of the RoundTable:

It's very possible I missed someone so let me know if it's you. Come on Guys, it's OK that I got my moment in the sun but I don't want to keep the cards and the Buckeye License plate frame, especially the frame. Somebody step up and teach the manners a host should have.

This week we have another FRIDAY game so get your guesses in on time. I've got no idea what is going to happen in Lafayette, the site of my daughters well earned divorce (may he rot in the hell of his own making) I should fly out to see the game and provide my ex mother in law another nightmare like the day I was able to send her son to jail on Christmas Eve. Ok no more ranting. Anyway I'm going to guess 42-10 with no expectation that the spread couldn't be larger.

Elite 2027 ATH Wesley Winn of San Francisco talks Oregon

Winn has various big-name, Power Four offers, but not yet from Oregon. Here is everything he had to say about the Ducks:

“I camped with Oregon, great experience and coaches. I don’t have an offer yet but do have great offers and some programs interested in commitment. Also narrowing down schools by game day visits and tours.”

Could have been worse for those 'Nuts

Going back thru a re-watch and realized just how fortunate OSU was to have escaped with just a 1 point loss. 🙂

We leave 2 pts from missed conversations, 1 missed FG and another FG we passed on for a 4th and goal. That's 8 points just off the foot of our kicker. Eight points where the circumstances of those plays ALL went OSU's way and they still lost by one. I guess, if ya want to get picky about it, you could look at the int on the 1st drive that also went their way as another 7 for a total of 15 points sort of "gifted" to them and they still lost by a point.

A fantastic night for Oregon Football and I still think our best football for this season is ahead of us.
