NIX FOR HEISMAN

There...I said it.

It needs to be said and the UO needs to promote it.

Barring unexpected turns, he won't win but, I bet, with a push, he can finish 3rd. (He's already in 5th in some odds maker's views).

That would be great exposure for the Ducks and help recruiting and, truthfully, IMO, he deserves to be in the conversation.

And nobody can market like the Ducks.

Injury Update

Briefly

Cota: Missed practice and would be listed as "doubtful" in NFL. I imagine he will not play against Colorado. TBD on UW
DJ Johnson: He missed a practice last week and was not seen yesterday. He looked to be playing through some pain against Cal. Not sure of his status for Colorado but might be a game time decision
Steven Jones: he is close to playing again. He traveled to Cal and was warming up pre-game

Outside of those three, nothing really new of note.

"Other Games" Thread

Might be fun to do this every week as UO hangs on in the CFBPO discussion.
I watched Mich dismantle PSU when I was back in NC w/ my Dad. Mich vs tOSU will be huge in rivalry week.
TCU is on the starting line of a gauntlet which will likely end their undefeated record. If not this week, in the next 3-4. One loss Okl St will likely soon be 2 loss.
Several one loss teams like Wake, Ill. and UNC et al are probably gonna loose before long, but we are crazy if we overlook all the other one loss teams. UNC's Drake Maye is among the elite QB's in the nation as a RS Fr., and next year will be a Heisman favorite.
I hate to root for USC, but it seems our best shot at the PO's is to meet them as both one loss teams in the Packy.
Let the games begin.
