It's Basketball Season!

FAMU @7pm.

Looking across the top 25 it's hard to see any potential upsets.

One to watch, no 3 Huston on 11/20, and then TG weekend PKI, that could end up with UNC v UO, a dream match were it to happen.

N'Faly Dante looks in prime form in season-opening win for Oregon

Dana Altman talked about this at Pac-12 Media Day, that he thought he could fully unleash Dante this year as he was further removed from his injury and all the way back to full strength. If last night was any indication, Dante could be in a huge season for the Ducks indeed.

Jacob has the story -- sorry for delayed post, I fell asleep early because I had a 5:50 a.m. flight from Vegas to LA.

Flock Talk: Lateralus

Today in Flock Talk, thoughts on the analytics creep into college football plus the NCAA is falling apart at the seams. My paragraph on that topic is near the end.

"It is time for a radical change. Not a slow change, but a radical redirection for college athletics. The NCAA is a rudderless ship drifting in the ocean with a disemboweling hole in its hull."
