She may have been passed over for the Bowerman finals, but she won a national event title in the discus, finished second in the shot and is now the top scholar in all of NCAA field athletes in track and field. The Bowerman would have been great but this is even more special IMHO.

As far as recruiting goes, what parent wouldn’t wouldn’t be impressed with a program that emphasizes athletics, academics, and sportsmanship? Congratulations to a great program. You add luster to your university!
