Before Oregon:[/B] Earned second team USTFCCCA All-American honors by placing 14th in the javelin at the NCAA Championships participated in eight meets in his first season of competition for the Bruins posted a personal best 219-7 to place fifth at the Pac-12 Championships opened the season with a win in the dual meet against Washington State with a throw of 217-1 posted a mark of 203-5 to win the Rafer/JJK Invitational threw 214-0 to place 12th at the NCAA West Prelims and advance to Eugene for the NCAA Championships earned honorable mention Pac-12 All-Academic accolades.
High School:[/B] Earned varsity letters in track and field (1), basketball (2), football (3) and Baseball (3) at Newberg high school...in track and field, earned All-American honors from Track and Field News in 2012...set the number one javelin mark in state of Oregon in his only season with a personal best throw of 210' 4"...in football, named team captain in 2010 and 2011...earned All-League Defensive End (2009, 2010), All-League Offensive Line, (2009), and All-League Tight End (2010, 2011) honors...won the 2009 Best Teammate Award...in baseball, named All-League HM First Base (2011)...in basketball, won league championship and the Oregon Class 6A finals tournament.
