SAN ANTONIO — Oregon’s defense lost three players during the third quarter of the Alamo Bowl.

Ducks backup boundary safety Daymon David was hurt making a tackle on kickoff coverage with 11:35 to go in the third quarter. Middle linebacker Noah Sewell didn’t take the field on UO’s opening defensive drive, which ended in a touchdown. Cornerback Dontae Manning left the sideline following Oklahoma second touchdown drive of the quarter, which made it 44-18 with 4:55 to go in the frame.
