Former Oregon Ducks’ stars reunite during the Denver Broncos’ win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

There was a reunion of former Oregon Ducks’ players during the Denver Broncos’ game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
Denver quarterback Bo Nix (2022-23), wide receiver Troy Franklin (2022-23), backup center Alex Forsyth (2017-22) and Tampa Bay running back Bucky Irving (2021-23) were teammates at Oregon were all teammates with the Ducks.
Nix and Irving connected before the game at midfield.
Nix had a spectacular game while posting his first NFL win of his career. Nix, the No. 12 overall pick of the 2024 NFL draft, completed 25-of-36 passes for 216 yards with no sacks and no turnovers in the Broncos’ 26-7 win. Nix also ran nine times for 47 yards and a touchdown.
Franklin caught the first pass of his NFL career, a six-yard reception from Nix in the second quarter. The fourth-round pick (No. 102) of the 2024 NFL draft also caught a five-yard pass during the same drive. He finished with two receptions on five targets for 11 yards.
Irving led the Buccaneers in rushing with nine carries for a career-high 70 yards. Irving, a fourth-round selection (No. 125) in the 2024 NFL draft, also had three receptions for 14 yards. Irving is the Buccaneers’ leading rusher, with 25 carries for 154 yards and he is averaging 6.2 yards a carry.
