I want to give special note of Oregon’s freshman triple jumper, Dominique Ruotolo. Although she was a good high school track athlete, when she committed to Oregon few fans even knew it. Most of us learned of her when the Athletic Department announced their signing class. She did not make any lists of top recruits on track websites. However, as a freshman she now ranks #10 in the NCAA in the triple jump. What a great get she was!
