I'm really supportive of woman's sports and I am very proud of our Duck Softball team.

However, sometimes I don't get how it all works.

The Ducks are playing at a high level then this last game they got killed. It happens. Its sports.

But the game was called on a run-rule situation (used to be called the "mercy rule" but that hurt too many feelings).

Besides the fact we got killed...what's with the run-rule deal?

Women want to be and are equals to men, so why play with archaic rules. Run rules are for Little League so the kids don't get their feeling hurt.

In this day and age, why does this even exist? Are the women too fragile to handle a bad loss?

Are they too weak to play a full game?

Hardly.

Get rid of this rule.
