The media team for Oregon has been on fire lately with all the access they've provided on the uniform updates with Kenny Farr, breaking down why they made those choices on the new kits this year and the history behind them, but it got me thinking about different eras from Oregon and the players of those times. It made me start to think about what eras I thought existed and who was the best players from those eras. Now, my fandom started in the early 2000's with Joey Harrington, when I was a kid still, but I know a bit about the 'older' teams too through media/documentaries/etc. I'd really like to see what eras everyone think exist, and who the best players in those eras were and I'd particularly love to hear from some of the more senior guys (no offense to some of the younger guys like myself, please share too) about this. As an example, for me, some eras would include:

The Bellotti Era (Gen O): I know many people will say Joey is the best player there, and my heart wants to say that, but I actually would pick Ngata as the best player from that group.
The Chip Kelly Era (Win the Day): I would actually include Mark Helfrich's teams in this era because it felt like a continuation of everything Chip built and for me that would be Mariota.
The Post-Chip Era (Slick Willie/Cristobal): Justin Herbert is my pick here.

I'd love to hear about any era anyone can think about, the players they thought were the best and why they chose them too. Lengthy post I'm sure, but I thought it might be interesting topic of debate about the program's history.
