Just wondering...
If Bittle continues his outstanding play, does he decide to enter the NBA draft? Combining B1G Ten tourney and March Madness games, he will have about ten more games this season. Consistent double-doubles during nationally broadcast tournament play could set him up well for being drafted. He is one of five finalists for the Kareem Abdul Jabbar Center-of-the-Year award and was just named by the coaches to the third team and all-defense team in All-Big Ten men's basketball honors. The media panel gave him an honorable mention nod in all-conference honors.
Might his interest in entering the NBA draft be part of why he went through senior day ceremony at UO during a recent game, even though he can play another year for Oregon?
Here's another thought a buddy shared while we watched the Oregon-Washington game on Sunday: Might Bittle enter the transfer portal so he could play for a perennial powerhouse like Duke, UNC, Kansas, etc.? There certainly is the opportunity for major NIL bucks if he did so. Of course, Uncle Phil can match any other teams' offers.
Curious what others here think...
