I grew up walking distance from the campus, Troy didn’t grow up walking distance from Stanford, but he still grew grew up very close to Stanford Stadium. I would imagine that, like me, he grew up a Stanford fan. There is nothing as bad as coming home and losing and nothing as great as coming home and winning. His childhood friends, family, and former coaches and teachers will all be watching. Oregon alumni in the Stanford community will be especially proud of him. Come home and make us proud Troy.
