What’s going on in Eugene right now? Dan and company repeatedly getting stuffed in a locker by everyone since the abomination at the Rose Bowl. Six months ago we were talking about 2026 potentially being the best recruiting class ever in Oregon history. Now I don’t honestly even know one recruit left on our board that we have a realistic shot with. We can keep telling ourselves it’s only May as all the top talent has eliminated us or signed elsewhere. We can keep telling ourselves wait until the season starts USC, as they lock down all the top talent on the west coast and push us out of the premier high schools in California. Even Washington is stealing players we never thought they had a shot at. Curtis and Cantwell aren’t coming!! We have no answers right now and this has gotten beyond bad quick with no end in sight.
