I talked with the four-star receiver from Portland (Ore.) Westview today and these were the impressions left: Oregon is/was planning to have an in-home with him this week and that might still happen but unless the new hire is a complete homerun, I think others have now taken the lead in his recruitment.

Auburn is absolutely a big-time player and should be considered right at the top. He's having an in-home with coach Bryan Harsin, receivers coach Eric Kiesau and the word he's gotten is that if the Tigers hire an offensive coordinator by that time then he will also be on the visit. That would be a huge step for Clemons to meet him as well.

Michigan is making a run at Clemons. He's originally from East Lansing and lived there until he was 11. Plus, he's a close friend of Michigan receiver Andrel Anthony and the plan right now is to take a visit to Ann Arbor this weekend. It's certainly something to watch for sure.

There is also some fringe interest from the USC staff so we'll see if/how that comes together in the coming days.
