Damani Warren is a big, 6-foot-4, 210-pound 4-star Class of 2027 wide receiver target of Arbor View in Las Vegas who is ranked No. 1 at the state and No. 2 overall at the position in the nation.

And he was on campus this week to check in with head coach Dan Lanning and Oregon alongside other top-blue chip recruits who are considering the Ducks for the future today.

He was in Eugene, establishing an early relationship with wide receivers' coach Ross Douglas. "I have been building a good relationship with Coach Douglas since he (became a member) of the staff on Day One. He reached out to me on the first day, so we've been building a good relationship over the past few weeks," he said.

"I like that (Douglas) is a coach that connects with his players easily, and that he has a funny personality. But he is a great coach, and he coaches hard," he said.

Warren was shocked at the news of former wide receivers' coach Junior Adams leaving for the Dallas Cowboys. "When I first saw that (Adams) took the Cowboys' job, it was shocking. He was just at my school visiting the week before, so it was shocking," he said.

This was the first visit to Eugene since freshman year for the standout receiver from Sin City. "It was nice coming back up and seeing the facilities. This was the first time I've visited (Oregon) since a camp during my freshman year," he said.

The Ducks' state-of-the-art offerings play a big impact in Warren's recruitment. "Yeah, (the facilities) play a big impact on my off-the-field nutrition. From the weight room to the cafeteria, I want to make sure I'm taken care of off the field," he said.

Among his other big-name Power Four offers include Alabama, Arizona, Cal, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Purdue, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Southern Cal, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin.
