Some big events for Oregon fans to follow as we head into the opening weekend of spring football practices.

Softball (11-7) hosts Oklahoma State (10-7-1) with a first pitch scheduled for 6:00 pm at Jane Sanders Field in Eugene. The Ducks got swept in three games of the Judy Garman Classic last week in Fullerton though their last two against Michigan and Tennessee were cancelled due to weather.

The 27-3 women’s basketball team takes their three-game winning streak to the Pac-12 tournament in Las Vegas with a 2:00 pm tip off. They face Arizona (18-12) who is the tourney’s #8 seed following their 76-48 dismantling of USC on Thursday.

The poor unfortunate baseball lads (7-4) are in Honolulu today as they take on Hawaii (8-5) at 6:35 pm PST. But before you start to feel sorry for them, it should get up to a reasonable 77 degrees there today. In Eugene we are slated for a high of 43.

But the sun and beach are not the only problems for George Horton’s team. The Rainbows enter today’s game on a six-game winning streak, including a 7-6 win over the Ducks yesterday.

Track and Field will be in Birmingham, Alabama today for the beginning of the NCAA indoor Championships. The Oregon men most recently won the national title in 2016, the women in 2017.

Fans can follow all four days of the event on the ESPN channels.

Fri, March 8 | ESPN3/WatchESPN - 3:30 p.m.
Sat, March 9 | ESPN3/WatchESPN - 2 p.m.
