I read that the PSU part time/back up QB entered the portal notwithstanding a possible Natty run. I think he played in every game, but he didn't want to risk missing out on a good spot for next year. Even Franklin supports this move for the guy's sake.
This got me to thinking, what about our top two prospects for next year and why neither has entered the portal, I guess they get another shot at the portal in the Spring, but is it possible the coaches are honestly telling them that they both have a shot for next year. Maybe that's reading too much into it, and you would think even if Moore is the guy for next year Novosad won't have trouble finding a new home with a good team, but a lot of the top schools will have taken their portal QB already. Anyone have any insight on this? It's just hard to imagine one of those guys accepting a backup job next year.
