The depth of destruction, death and ruined lives in the NC Mt's hits close to my heart seeing this. This YT video was taken by the guy who bought our family cabin from us a few years ago. He films the destruction along the Cane River leading up to the cabin at the end.
My sister just confirmed that this was it, 8220 19W. This was our family cabin for over 50 years. We have been searching franticly for information on this for the last week, and today I found this on YT. A pretty powerful tool, but in this case, terrible news. The debris from the old place is near the end of the video. The old stone mill house still stands, but everything else is gone.
