DJU will have some competition, at least by mid season. I wasn't aware that they landed the no 7 DT QB in the class until I looked at where Novosad stands in the class. Puts OSU in a great position with a longer term QB of the future.. Btw, I don't like the DT/PRO distinction any more. I guess it allows more guys to be rated high, but most teams want mobile QB's who can extend plays, and most importantly, who can distribute the ball. A good example is Maye who lead UNC in rushing this year but is obviously a high NFL draft pick next year.
Anyway, 247 rankings have Novosad as the no 10 QB and Chiles at 17. Still a home run for the Beav's. And just for fun to illustrate how much of a crap shoot this can be, in 2021 Ty Thompson was the no 7 QB and Maye was 9th.
