As promised, I have here in my currently unstained hand 5 football cards.
Troy Dye rookie card
Brian Hinkle card
Gary Zimmerman card
Coach John Robinson card
Deion Sanders either Rookie or second season card (I'll check later) Gotta believe if you are going to win this thing.

Scoring is different this year and while the main winner gets the cards, the secondary one gets the glory.. Main winner is most points
The third guy can just brag a little. Second it the guy with the best average score (minimum of 7 games) Third guy is the one with the most wins.
Yep, it's possible for one of you (or me) to claim all three

Scoring is simpler this year
100 points for correctly picking the winner
50 points for each exact score for a team in the game
25 for the correct spread
To determine the weekly winner in case of a tie is first one in.

Some of you lurkers, please come out of the shadows for just this one little thing. We'd be happy to have you and one of us 2nd year veterans is bound to keep you out of the bottom spot.

I'll post that at the top for a couple more weeks for the benefit of new players who stumble onto this thing.

THE Beav's prepped for the game by blanking previously unbeaten San Diego State on the road 21-0. Oregon might have looked past the Boise State game but both teams are 2-0 (as are the Apple cup teams for their Saturday game), before the kickoff of the first of the early season version of the contest.

We had 21 guessers this past week and I love to see us build upon that here.

I think I'll repeat the score I tried unsuccessfully last try.

Ducks win 45-17.
