The bad news is that Hannah Cunliffe didn't compete in the 100 or the 200. I presume that she is injured.
Big performances came from Alaysha Johnson, Deja Stevens, Ariana Washington, Marcus Chambers, Kyree King, and Demarcus Simpson. Stevens had the fastest time of the day in the 100 and 200, with11.89w (2.9), and 22.31w(2.1).
The Oregon women punched 3 tickets to the NCAA championships in the 400! Makenzie Dunmore went 51.75. Elexis Guster went 51.78. Ashante Horsley went 52.84.
Marcus Chambers punched his ticket with a 45.03. That was the third fastest time in the men's 400 in the West Regional.
Kyree king and Demarcus Simpson both punched tickets to the Championships in the 100. King went 9.98w (3.7). Simpson went 10.04w (3.7). They had the third and sixth fastest times in the West Regional. Kyree King also punched his ticket in the sixth fastest time at the meet in the 200 with 20.49w (2.7).
Alaysha Johnson had the second fastest 100h time of the day with 12.68w (2.6) First was 12.63w (4.3)....I'd have to do a wind conversion to see who was really faster. Johnson has become a real star in the 100h.
Several more tickets were punched, including Raevyn Rogers and Brooke Feldmeier in the 800, Sasha Wallace in the 100h, and Braxton Canady in the 110h.
There are more tickets punched. I or someone will get an article up from the AD website later.
