Oregon men’s basketball will need to replace its leading rebounder. LJ Figueroa, who averaged 12.3 points, 6 1. rebounds and 1.6 steals for the Ducks this season, announced Tuesday that he is signing with an agent and beginning his professional career.
“First and foremost, I want to thank my family for always being supportive through all the peaks and valleys throughout my college career; I’m truly blessed to have such a support group around me,” Figueroa wrote via Instagram. “Next, I would like to thank St. John’s for welcoming me with open arms into their basketball family. Lastly, I would like to thank Oregon for this past season for helping me become a better player on the court in person off the court; it truly felt like home. I’m happy to announce I will be signing with an agent and preparing for the next chapter of my basketball career.”
