So much hostility in this morning's editorial, that I will mention just a couple of his latest lines:
"Oregon will remain a sleeping giant in ticket revenue and respect until Altman isn't coaching it".
"Altman has never been a good fit at Oregon".
When comparing Altman & Tinkle, he said, "I'm long on Tinkle".
Canzano implies in his article that attendance at Duck games was down because Altman is crooked... mostly concerning the three B-Ball players getting the boot because they had sex with a coed.
Whether you agree with the witnesses at the party, each of whom said that the coed was the predator, or not, Oregon's getting rid of three starters on the B-Ball team screams just the opposite of Canzano's implications.
They imposed cautiousness over the letter of the law. They expelled the three starters. Is Canzano suggesting that they should fire Altman for being their coach?
I wonder if Canzano really feels this way. Or is it another case of "Headlines over Reality".
