California safety Peyton Woodyard (Bellflower-St. John Bosco) made the trip up to Oregon for a visit this weekend and he's leaving with an offer from the Ducks. Woodyard is one of the top recruits in California regardless of class, and Oregon is one of the few big schools that had yet to offer him. Now the Ducks are officially in the mix and could have a lot to say before he makes a decision. Notre Dame has gained the most buzz up to this point in the recruitment, but he continues to take visits and talk to schools as he works his way through the process with well over a year before he can sign with any program.
USC, Ohio State, Georgia, Alabamam, Michigan, LSU, Oklahoma, Texas and Texas A&M are some of his other offers.
