I am not against alcohol being served first and foremost. However, at least in the section I am in (25) the over service has been rampant the past 4 games. In fact, the people behind me end up so intoxicated by the 2nd qtr that I am constantly battling them from spilling their beer all over the ground, me and my family, and the others around us. That part seriously irks me.
The worse part has been the two fights I have witnessed this year with little to no crowd management response. The one last night in section 24 was ridiculous at the end of the game with an older gentlemen being pummeled by a intoxicated young male. Again no crowd management response and other fans not sure what to do. This could have been very serious if a few of us hadn't stepped in to stop the young man which in turn had his (the young mans family) begin to engage people.
Not sure this is the best policy yet. Certainly a lot of money being made by the sales.
