The Duck recruiting class suffered a big blow on Tuesday when 4-star DB Jared Mayden decommitted from his summertime pledge.
Duck Sports Authority caught up with him via text for confirmation, asking if indeed he had changed his mind.
"Yes it is true," Mayden replied.
Oregon still has Brady Breeze and Troy Dye as commitments at safety though the Ducks do not have any DB commits in the class.
