This morning on the Inside Read I mentioned this:
"While I cannot go through all of the names available, one name that could be in the mix is Var’Keyes Gumms from North Texas. Originally from Houston Texas, Mehringer, and Will Stein are familiar with him. As a redshirt freshman, Gumms had 34 receptions for 458 yards and five touchdowns last season while being named a second-team Freshman All-American, and made at least one first-team All-Conference list as well. Interestingly, he had a career-best 92 yards on three receptions against UTSA last season."
