Junior All-American center Jackson Powers-Johnson is off to the NFL and isn't expected to play in the VRBO Fiesta Bowl against Liberty. It's a move that makes total sense for JPJ, and Oregon's program understands why. That decision opens the path for a very rare different starting combination up front along the offensive line.

Expect freshman offensive lineman Iapani Laloulu to get the start at center as he's replaced JPJ at times this season when the game got out of hand or when JPJ suffered an injury and needed to come out. The Fiesta Bowl will serve as the 247Sports Freshman All-American's first chance at making a case for the starting spot at the position in 2024. This season as a true freshman, Laloulu played 348 total snaps, the most of any non-starter on Oregon's roster this season by over 200 snaps.
