Today on Trackducks a long time Duck track fan of considerable knowledge, has claimed that the women’s ‘22 recruiting is the best Oregon women’s recruiting class ever. I think that is a big claim because we have had some awesome women’s recruiting classes. Only time will tell, but it is a dynamically exciting group.
Now we turn to development , aka coaching. They must be handled and trained effectively, but the potential is cause for optimism. The talent is in all aspects of the sport …. sprinters, jumpers, throwers, mid and long distance runners, hurdlers and multis. It comes from multiple countries and states.
Talent alone won’t get them to the podium. Now the ball is in the coaches court to see just how far they can take this group. I can’t control my excitement.
