What a special venue to distinguish the University! No wonder Uncle Phil wanted the tower! It is a landmark for an internationally iconic sports facility. Hayward Field alone makes the UO famous.
In the US, Hayward Field stands alone in track fame. That’s in a sport where meets are held in every corner of the globe. Look at the flags outside the stadium. They represent all of the countries from which competitors at Hayward have come. Feel proud Ducks!
