What ever happened to the elite HS QB from Hawaii ?

I remember 6 months ago or so information about a Hawaii HS QB that seemed really good that wanted to play for the Ducks. The article made him out to be the next great duel threat QB although he was somewhat a little smaller than a Marcus.... Is he still available and what happened to him?
