He is from Eugene's Marist High School. He is projected as a decathlete. I talked with a local Eugene track coach who knows him well. He told me that he has lots of potential, and that he is an outstanding kid. He is a good jumper and sprinter. He is well rounded and a good fit for the multis. He played football at Marist, but forewent this season to concentrate on track. This one could be a sleeper.
