Credit Brandon for finding the tweet from runnerspace. I was wondering when the story would break. She committed a week ago. I’m still wondering why the story isn’t on more track sites.
As for ranking Alysah she is a high 4 star. She ranks 6th in the high jump in the recruiting class of 2019. However, in terms of potential she is a 5 star! Alysah is a great athlete who was focused on the high jump. She was new at the long jump, but still won the California State high school championship. Alysah could become a world class long jumper or perhaps an outstanding heptathlete.
I feel really good about this athlete.She really wants to be a Duck.
She has Oregon roots, and had been a Duck fan her entire life. She described Oregon as the greatest track and field school in the world.....she got that right!
