Oklahoma Sooner sprinter Hannah Cunliffe is rumored to be transferring to Oregon. She just finished her freshman season with Oklahoma
Hannah had a great high school career in Federal Way, Wa. She ran a top wind aided time of 11.38 in the 100 her junior season, and an 11.40 aw her senior season. She also excelled in the 200 in high school, and was one of three US sprinters selected to represent the US in the 200m at the 2013 World Youth Games in Ukraine, where she finished 4th in a time of 23.44. She had the 2nd fastest time in the US among high schoolers in the indoor 55 in a time 6.79 her senior season.
Let's hope that the rumor is true. This could really give the women some help in the 4x1, which will return four quality sprinters. A fifth sprinter adds a cushion incase of injury. It also would help give some options to the 4x4 relay team by allowing Ariana Washington to run the a leg on the 4x4 instead of the 4x1 if the situation calls for it. The rumor is likely true. Hannah is no longer on the OU roster. I'm excited. She is a high four star, close to being a five star.
