Another 5 Star International athlete is headed to the University of Oregon in the Fall. Mathilde Rey, a high level Swiss Heptathlete from Geneva has indicated she will be arriving in Eugene during August in time to enroll as a Fall term freshman. Though she is relatively new to track and field, during the past year she has shown dramatic improvements and now is one of the top U20 Heptathletes in Europe. Both her 18 year old Outdoor Heptathlon and Indoor Pentathlon marks are slightly higher than were those of Silver Medalist Brianne Theissen Eaton as an 18 year. Tomorrow is Mathilde's 19th birthday...here's a Happy Birthday shout out from Ducks everywhere. Go Ducks!
