From what one can read, it sounds like he's not really fielding many calls or texts yet, but those schools that are getting a word in have gone through some sort of "pre- screening" process by both parents--who are no longer together, but whom both are very involved. Thus, since he's talking to UO, along with a select few others, maybe that's at least a sign of interest. He's not going to get serious about recruiting til next summer, but at least for now, Altman seems to have passed the parental smell test.
