Oregon broke out of its offensive slump last Saturday with a 41-20 win over Utah at Autzen Stadium, snapping a three-game conference winning streak. A streak that coincided with the injury to Justin Herbert and true freshman Braxton Burmeister getting a premature college start.

"It felt good because we needed this win, not only for the team but for Braxton to have confidence and for us to have confidence in him," said Brooks-James.

On the minds of many college pundits across the nation was the open job at Florida, and the speculation that Willie Taggart was a prime candidate.
