A few weeks back I mentioned we have a family friend who's son was one of the biggest guy on the Oregon FBU 8th grade all star team. He's at Lake Ridge. I took him to a practice and tried to make him memorize the offensive plays even though he's playing DT. If he sticks with it, I'd bet he's an OL.
Well, the 6th, 7th and 8th graders went up to Seattle yesterday to play against WA's finest (as I understand it, WA has 2 all star teams in each grade) and all 3 got creamed. Not sure how much this means and I'm sure as time rolls by more and better players will filter into both states, but dang.
The NW regional winners go to Fla....
