I read in my latest Oregon Quarterly of the passing of Duck football all-American Steve Barnett. Steve played for the Ducks 1959 - 1963 and received numerous conference and national honors. He lived in my dorm freshman year (Stafford Hall), and I knew him to be a thoroughly nice guy, modest with no BMOC airs. I had not seen this reported elsewhere on DSA, so thought I would post it.
