So, as a devout football junkie, I've been following the coaching searches and FSU and USC.
At FSU, it appears that Bob Stoops declined while Mark Stoops interviewed. After the interview, Mark was quoted as saying that he did not think that he was a candidate...that FSU was going "Big Game Hunting."
Names being bandied about include James Franklin, Matt Campbell, Mike Norvell and even Brian Kelly.
Other than Franklin and Kelly, the job would be a step up for those guys.
But, why would Franklin leave PSU for FSU? The only things that I can think of would be recruiting in Florida and that the only real competition would be Clemson.....not OSU, Michigan, etc.
And FSU has proven to me, at least, that the athletic department is pretty screwed up.
