I had wondered about this, and specifically the propriety of a state funded school using religion as the foundation of it's sports program, recruiting....and, or course, the role it played in Clemson landing DJU. I think most would agree that religion and specifically Christianity are a good thing for young men. Much better than some of the alternatives, see eg, Colt Lyerla. SI still has some good writers.
