Is the Rivals 5-star Challenge catching or making a move on The Opening as far as prestige as a recruiting event? It feels like the Nike event made a serious blunder in moving their ESPN showcase to Dallas. Indoors and away from the campus of the worldwide sports marketing and apparel leader it just doesn't seem to have the same glamour. As a televised event, holding it a near-empty stadium rather than in sunny Oregon with a view of Mount Hood seems like a major comedown.
