Sophomore Khalil Oliver will be on the field a lot at special teams and no doubt safety this season. Here is some of the Q&A with the entire video interview below.
A.J. Jacobson: Who has impressed you out there on offense and defense?
Khalil Oliver: Probably Dillon Mitchell the receiver and then I would say Henry (Mondeaux) on defense. They both have been playing their asses off.
AJ: What are your impressions of the defense this spring?
KO: I think our defense is playing a lot more physical and a lot faster.
AJ: Do you think Coach Hoke has anything to do with that?
KO: I think all the coaches sat down and they just realized that we just need to play. And they are emphasizing effort and getting to the ball. You may make a mistake but there is no excuse for you not running to the ball as fast as you can. I think that is what is going to separate us this year is the effort getting to the ball; eleven people to the ball.
