Not a full article worth of stuff, just some brief updates.
- The position was officially posted Monday. State law requires a 7 day posting before a position can be filled. That means earliest it could be officially filled is Monday.
- I have 'heard' that the hire is made at this point, so expect an announcement early in the week.
- Internal sources at Oregon were the ones that made the Joe Brady name sound unlikely.
- Multiple other sources, though, are hinting to me that he is a very real possibility.
- The only thing he does not have is a connection to Lanning or Oregon really. But he does have connections with a lot of people and Dante Moore would be very happy if that is the guy.
- Still unsure if Oregon sources are trying to obfuscate the candidate leading us to or away from Brady or if the other sources are pie in the sky.
- The actual decision makers are NOT leaking anything.
